Hi! It's me, Catie and I'm about to start my reading adventures! As you may already know, I like -- no wait, love to read! In fact I normally finish 300 page books in one to two days. So, that is why I am very excited to start blogging about my summer reading plans.


Way- cool Books I've Read Over The Past Month
  • Shadow by Jenny Moss
  • Fool's Girl by Celia Rees
  • Season by Sarah MacLean
  • Warrier Heir by Cinda Williams Chima
  • Wizard Heir by Cinda Williams Chima
  • Dragon Heir by Cinda Williams Chima
  • Princess Acadamy by Shannon Hale
I really enjoyed all 300 pages or more of each of these amazing, way-cool books! I would really recommend them to any 6th-8th grade girls.


I hope that everyone finds this summer reading as interesting as I do; not just as a way to get an easy grade, but as a chance to read some new and exciting books along with the fun of blogging as well. I'm really looking forward to my next blog, and a new book. (Did I mention that I plan to read Fever for my first book?) I'll be blogging soon!!!

    Catie, we should both be in the "fast readers club"! It is a blessing and a curse, I think. One of my favorite things to do is to go to an airport bookstore (when I'm flying) and take advantage of those "buy one and trade it in for free" deals. I don't think the stores planned on me getting so many free reads on one trip!

    I guess the only book that I have read on your list is Princess Academy. Shannon Hale has some really good books, though. Why don't you try Goose Girl or Forest Born. I've read both of those & loved them!

    Catie you are the fastest reader I know. I have appropriately called you a bookworm. I am going to read a few of the books on your list. I will probably read Warrier Heir by Cinda Williams Chima, Wizard Heir by Cinda Williams, Chima Dragon Heir by Cinda Williams Chima, Princess Acadamy by Shannon Hale. Have a GREAT summer!
